paradigm change

My bank purchased sitekey.

So what was going to be a simple 5 minute check for balance turns into something where I need to plug in the printer or write stuff down.

Because I just won’t remember the sitekey details.

Sure, I could have it emailed to me when I forget, but that usually requires walking through the entire process again. Takes even more time.

The thing I don’t understand is why they expect people to remember all this stuff without writing it down.

Once I have 5-10 sites requiring sitekey or similar tech, it will be easier, I will have a process for remembering. But these first few are going to be time sumps.

Update

The bank changed their UI! A two minute task is pushing 15 minutes!

What is sitekey……….?
Can it be any worse than my bus. account with citibark which requires a keychain contraption that spits out a different code everytime I want to log on?
