Be A “Money-Enabler” And Pay Yourself

by David M. Doolin, PhD on June 26, 2009

Do you spend time learning how to pay yourself? If not, why not? I have, and it literally pays off.

How many ways do you have to get yourself paid? Do you know? I have several.

For example, I’ve earned passive income from affiliates on There Is NO Box. It feels good getting email telling me I made money while I was sleeping. I’m not making the rent yet… but that’s simply a matter of time. It’s not difficult, when you think about it the right way.

Enable money to find you

The cool thing about “enabling money” is that it’s 1-2-3 Action Oriented. Here’s an example:

  1. Find a service or product such as Amazon that has an affiliate program.
  2. Sign up for the Amazon affiliate program.
  3. Put a link or an advertisement into your copy.

You’re done.

That was easy.

You probably already know these steps. Have you been implementing them? What if I charged $49 for this “secret algorithm for passive income?” Would that make you Take Action Now?

Being a “Money-Enabler” isn’t that difficult. A man once told me “simple things are hard enough.” Perhaps enabling money is one of those hard, simple things. Enabling money does require a different way of thinking about money than most people have. Most people think about money as something they have to go out and “get.” Like, getting a job, so they can get some money.

Being a money-enabler is different… you aren’t “enabling yourself to get money.” You’re enabling money to find you!
