Freemind is a really, really useful tool for organizing and refactoring documents. Here are some best practices for using Version 0.80.

HTML Clickable Export

Do:

  • When adding a note to a node, keep the length of the note between 1 sentence and 1 paragraph in length. This makes exporting to HTML much, much more useful.

Don’t do:

  • Don’t add HTML code in either a node or in a note, the tags are not rendered correctly in the exported file.
