We’ve been through the proposal, we’ve been over the code and sketched out an initial prototype, now it’s time to wrap up it up.
The final day of the weekend is all about wrapping up the preliminary work and getting a first pitch together for presentation to investors. In this case, the Women 2.0 Startup Weekend didn’t have a big-time investor panel, but the pitches were “debugged” in front a panel of experienced entrepreneurs, and questions fielded from the crowd of 200 people in attendance.

We pitched Wardrobe Shuffle about 8:30 Sunday evening, August 31, 2009. The pitches were nominally 4 minutes long, most went considerably over, but Kim did an outstanding job and got our pitch delivered in about 5 minutes. We used a “Beyond Bullet Points” style presentation using 10 slides to support Kim’s narration.
In all, 19 ventures resulted from this Startup Weekend, including Foodspotting, which if you are a foodie, you will definitely love! Even if you aren’t a foodie and just have miscellaneous cravings once in a while, Foodspotting is your best friend for satisfying those crazy Thai food (or whatever) cravings you have at the oddest hours.
